Licensing Requirements

By proceeding you warrant that you are:

over the age of 18;
hold a current and valid unrestricted license; and
have had a minimum of 12 months' unrestricted driving experience.

Return to centre and use of trailer

You acknowledge and agree that you will return the trailer to the same centre that the trailer is hired from (National Storage Rotorua Central). Failure to do so will result in additional costs in accordance with the fee schedule set out below.

The trailer must remain within 100km from National Storage Rotorua Central at all times.

Late return

If you fail to return the trailer by the due date, you will be subject to additional fees as set out in the schedule below.

Cancellation within 24 hours

If you cancel your booking within 24 hours of the commencement of the rental period, you will not be entitled to any refund of the hire fees.

4. Damage Waiver

You can elect to reduce your potential damage excess by adding the optional damage excess waiver coverage for an additional fee of $10. By purchasing the damage waiver coverage, the excess payable in the event of any damage will be $350 (rather than the standard excess of $1,100).

The excess on the insurance is payable for any damage to the vehicle however caused, including misuse or any damage that the vehicle may cause to any other vehicle or property (regardless of whose fault the accident is). The optional damage waiver only covers damage caused to the Vehicle during the rental and does not cover any damage to other property or claims by other persons (refer to clauses 3.3 of the terms and conditions). The Hirer as listed in the hire agreement is responsible for the excess payable.
