For the past two years, Cheal has rented a storage unit from National Storage, located at 416 Ngongotaha Road, Rotorua. The sign-up, and cancellation procedures were straightforward and hassle-free. The facility was consistently clean and organised, and pest control was visibly and regularly maintained.

Highly recommend. Very affordable. Wonderful service, clean & tidy containers & offer all sorts of size storage units, I used for 13 months & all my worldly possessions are still in great nic. Lovely people too.

From initial guidance as to what size unit was needed, and the set up - it was all done.Really in a very friendly manner. They told us the site is under new management - would say very professional service very pleased. The storage facilities themselves are very clean, dry and secure - Very Happy, Thank you :)

Do I need to pay a deposit?
No, we don’t require a deposit. If you wish to pay a deposit upon booking, this will go toward your first month of storage.
How can I move my things into the storage unit?
Our pallet jacks and move-in trailers are free for our customers to use. We can also recommend a removalist service if needed.
What does “hardstand” mean?
A “hardstand” is an outdoor space that is commonly occupied by vehicles and boats. It is open to the elements.
How much notice do I need to give when moving out?
We ask that you give at least seven (7) days’ notice of your intention to move out.
What can I put in my Fairy Springs self-storage unit?
